Fighting The Enemy

Returning again to John 8:44-47.

Satan is like a master fisherman.  He is excellent at hiding his hook in the bait which mankind will most likely bite on! And, then you are his, or your witness has been destroyed.  But, then that is the entire point of the game he plays with all of mankind.....

Know Your Enemy!
Satan means adversary.
Devil means slanderer.
Beelzebub means Lord of the Flies.
He is also known as:

• The serpent
• The tempter
• Prince of this world
• Prince of the demons
• God of his age

Make no mistake, he is your enemy.  You are at war with him.

 Study Satan's modis operandi (MO for those of you whom watch too much TV!).
Satan is a LIAR and a MURDER and has been from that first encounter with man.
His goal is to side track you from serving God and being an effective witness.
He will use:

• Deception
• Doubt
• Discouragement
• Diversions
• Defeat
• Delay

 Whomever is the weakest liink in your life - he will use to pull you from what you must be doing to serve God.  Question is, are you strong enough to stand against friends, family and loved ones - once you have identified them as being used by your accuser.....

Identify and Understand Your Weaknesses.
Know that all power is really God's.
That all wealth is really God's.
That your failures are really sins against God.  (To quote Bill Bright, sin - (exhail your) confession - (breathe in) forgiveness, his idea of spiritual breathing)
Resist the lies of Satan that would make you think otherwise!

Stick Together With Your Christian Family.
Love,
Forgive,
Serve,
Encourage.
Confession with - hold one another accountable!

Walk Boldly In The Truth.
You have nothing to fear....
