Generally we have a big celebration for the Forth of July. But, this year, I am as weak as a kitten and unlikely any of the kids would help. So .....

So the parade was long and hot and very fun since at the end I asked my daughter how it felt to be in a gay pride parade - needless to say, my trout daughter immediately bit the hook, "What! I thought this was for the Forth!?!?!?!?" LOL!
Then Dutchman begged out of coming as his wife had some teeth pulled the night before, Swede was descended upon three of his nieces and my kids floated in and out all evening with other priorities. Sigh. Life goes on.
But, I had fun.
