Psalm 141

Verses 1-2

I will turn to God first.

Before to do,

As I do,

And after I have done.

Verses 3-4

I will ask God to post a guard (especially as a man!):

Over my mouth,

Over my heart,

Over my actions.

Verse 5

I will welcome criticism.

(Consider Proverbs 9:8, 15:31, 17:10, 27:6)

Verse 6-7

I will let God judge my enemies.

One day “they” will get “theirs”!

Prayer is to be our only weapon.

Verse 8-10

I will keep my eyes on God.
